Talcia started training with Black Dragon Kai in February 2008 at the Tamborine Village Dojo. She began learning Modern Martial Arts and eventually trained in all the styles and systems taught at BDK.
She has also competed in a variety of styles with great success, expecially Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which she has earned 3 x Silver Medals and 3 x Bronze Medals at the World Championships.
